About Art by Taylor Sheree

Art by Taylor Sheree is a celebration of Black life, identity, and expression — capturing the beauty, depth, and complexity of the Black experience through art while honoring the truth that we are each fearfully and wonderfully made.

Each piece is created with intention. Through expressive imagery, bold composition, and vibrant color, my work explores the stories we carry: our strength and softness, joy and struggle, history and hope, individuality and connection.

Color is a language within my work.

The layering of colors represents the layers within us — the experiences, emotions, histories, and identities that make us beautifully multifaceted. Just as no single color can tell the whole story of a painting, no single narrative can define the Black experience.

We are complex. We are evolving. We are vibrant. We are many things at once.

And through every layer, we bear the imprint of a Creator who formed us with intention.

My art creates space for those complexities to exist unapologetically. It honors the beauty found in our differences while celebrating the experiences that connect us. At its heart is the belief that there is purpose in how we were created, dignity in who we are, and beauty in the stories God has entrusted to us.
